Does subnational region matter? Foreign affiliate performance in the United states and China

This study examines the extent to which subnational regions can explain foreign affiliate performance in two host country settings, the United States and China, the world's two largest economies at polar ends of the economic spectrum (i.e., an advanced versus an emerging economy). Our results suggest that the subnational region is significant in explaining foreign affiliate performance, thus confirming its importance as an additional unit of analysis for firm performance. This study also shows that the effects of subnational region are far stronger in China than they are in the United States, thus suggesting that regional differences are more critical in their explanatory power for firm performance in emerging economies than they are in advanced economies. Analyses of local ingredients and dishes on menus of the Budapest-Middle-Danube touristic region

The background of the study is based on previous studies dealing with the areas of Transdanubia of Hungary. Those works have proved the hypothesis of author that local ingredients and dishes represent minimum role on menus. The question is how similar or different the choice of menus of Budapest-Middle-Danube compared with the previously examined areas of Hungary. There can be another question about the usage of local ingredients available near to the catering units. This piece of work has studied 79 menus of Budapest-Middle-Danube, Hungary. The material was collected from different types of restaurants, small restaurants （vendeglo in Hungarian） and roadside restaurants （csarda in Hungarian）. The method of the work was on the one hand, data collecting, and on the other hand, examination of the differences between the catering units in details： the number of dishes, the right order of dishes, the appearance of local ingredients and dishes, the consideration of seasonality, the usage of different cooking methods and group of dishes. The study reflects the main problems of countryside restaurants in Hungary. Only minimum number of dishes could be connected to local dishes out of more than thousands. All in all, dishes are not as precise and perfect as the ＂old ones＂, so that is why it is important for every expert keep the traditions alive in daily routines and strategic mean too.     

Investment and Innovation State Support of Agriculture in Russia as a Condition of WTO

Russian agriculture is one of the industries operating in the unstable economic situation in a developing market taking into account risks of the world economy, economic, political, and climatic factors. The role of agriculture is to provide people＇s needs for food, significant effects on employment, the efficiency of domestic production, and way of life in rural areas by obligatory preserving food security in Russia. One of the major tasks for agriculture is the development of innovations and investments aimed at improving the competitiveness of the domestic agricultural sector. Russia＇s membership in the WTO since 2012 is getting a particular importance in the innovation and investment support of agriculture. The strategy of innovative development of the Russian Federation until 2020 ＂Innovative Russia--2020＂ assumes three possible options for innovative development： inertial （directed on imports）, catch-up development and a local technological competitiveness and a variant of achieving leadership in leading scientific and technical sectors, and fundamental research. A positive point is that the strategy provides an algorithm of state support of the innovation cycle. The innovation cycle is the process associated with the sequence of innovation transformations （scientific or business ideas） in products, technology, business process and launches it on the market for commercial use. A positively developing regional aspect is of great importance.     

区域文化产业品牌构建研究——以广东梅州为例

随着文化产业竞争的加剧，实施品牌战略成为区域发展文化产业、提高产业竞争力的必然选择。区域文化产业品牌的塑造需要特色文化资源、企业为主体的市场化运作机制、有效的商业模式及政府的宏观引导等要素条件。文章以客家文化名城梅州为例，通过个案的解析为我国地域文化产业品牌化发展提供参考。

基于1992-2011年外商在华投资数据，阐述在华投资经历的四个阶段，从我国东部、中部、西部和东北四大经济区域看，各区域在外商投资企业数量和外商投资总额上存在着巨大差异，区域投资严重失衡。这主要是由于政策战略导向作用、区位差异和投资回报率存在差距造成的。提出加强人力资源队伍建设，充分利用区域资源优势吸引外资，不断完善引资政策等对策建议。

The Empirical Research on Logistics Industry to Accelerate Economlc：Facts in Central China

物流业的发展能有效降低整个社会的商品流通成本,通过提高经济效率来加速经济发展。利用1995～2009年的省级面板数据,研究了东部地区物流业发展对经济发展的加速效应。研究得出,物流业发展对东部地区经济的发展具有一定的加速效应,而主要的路径是促进产业结构的升级、优化吸引外资的环境和提升制造企业的竞争力等。     

供应链合作关系对供应链绩效的影响——基于长三角企业的实证研究

供应链合作关系中的信任和未来期许均对于供应链运作绩效中的产品质量和客户服务水平具有正向影响作用,而对于产品具有负向作用。但是供应链合作关系中的合作意愿仅仅对于产品质量和客户服务水平具有正向影响作用,但是对于成本的影响没有通过原来的假设。因此对于企业而言,要提高供应链运作绩效的水平,应综合考虑供应链合作关系的维度,可根据实际情况加强各种合作行为,全面提升双方合作的绩效。     

袁州政区变迁考论——兼对部分史籍相关记载的校勘

袁州作为地方行政单位始于隋开皇十一年（591）,至1912年被裁撤,其名称、隶属、治所和版图均少有变迁,体现出较强的稳定性。这主要是由于袁州的地理位置与外界往来较少造成的。今日宜春市的行政区划存在一定的不合理性,影响到了行政效率和行政区划的稳定性。中华书局点校本《元史》、《明史》、《元和郡县图志》和《读史方舆纪要》等史籍对古代袁州行政沿革的记载存在一些错误,逐一勘之。
